Most sections around the Wakatipu have a slope on them somewhere, and a retaining wall is usually what turns that slope into ground you can actually use. We build walls that hold the bank, drain properly behind and line up with what you want the finished space to be.

Walls almost never fail because the timber or the blocks were not strong enough. They fail because water built up behind them and the pressure had nowhere to go. Drainage coil, clean drainage metal and a filter cloth behind every wall is not an optional extra on the quote, it is the part that decides whether the wall is still straight in fifteen years.
